Mad Tosh Fabrics

Mad Tosh is closing out all fabrics.  I was able to purchase some larger quantities than I usually do.  These are wonderful patterns that mix and match.  Many possibilities here.

Happy Easter!!

I slipped away for a few days to enjoy time with my

family.  Holy Week is such a blessed time of quiet and reflection.

During that time, though, I came up with new ideas and styles. so keep coming back!

This bag was a s request from a customer who regulary accompanies her husband on archeology trips.  She wanter a flannel bag for her tennis shoes.  What a great idea!

New Designs!

I had 2 custom orders last week.  One was for 2 little bags for Easter with initials monogrammed on the front.  I do believe they turned out precious!

The second was for a large bag with no  accent fabric.  It does give a different look to the bag. :))

This new set is hot pinks, browns and red.  Just cute, cute, cute!

I'm not sure what is wrong with the camera.  Some troubleshooting is in need!

A Little Deviation?

I found that when I was choosing fabrics, there were certain tones I was drawn to and kept purchasing.  Someone mentioned I needed to add some reds and tonal greens.  I came across these and loved them!
The second set has a little gold  thoughout which gives a little hint of sparkle without the sparkle.  :)

While in Austin this weekend I popped into a little shop and walked out with this!

Polka Dots are everywhere and I am falling for them .  These 3 patterns would make the cutest bag for that special project.  There is only 1/2 yard of each, so grab it while you can!

Some Saturday Sewing!

Who can resist these beautiful Spring fabrics?  A shade of blue/gray with pink and gold setting it off!  This is a large size bag in the Etsy shop.

Butterlies and flowers just speak to the season.  Even if there is still snow where you are...hope springs eternal with these shades of pink/ fray and gold.  This bag is a medium in the Etsy shop.

Changing the inside lining to a gold dot and making this bag in a large size gives it a whole new look!  Also, now in the Etsy shop.

Fabric Friday!

I never get tired of putting patterns together for you!  These arrived today and are waiting to be made into bags of your choice!

It is not often you find 4 fabrics that coordinate so beautifully.  I m visualizing several bag options with these!

Spring is certainly here with these two choices!  Wouldn't a pretty blue or even brown make a nice coordinating 3rd fabric option?

Sometimes Spring comes in muted tones and you can never go wrong witha bautiful turquoise!  Mated with black and a subtls gold, this would make a classy bag

I am at the advent of a new enterprise!  Welcome to Drawstrings, an online source for custom drawstring bags for infinite uses.  Each bag is a custom bag designed by me in 8 sizes. A 9th size, wine bottle, is on the drawing table!


The bags are made of quality cotton with grosgrain ties which are treated to prevent fraying.  A " grab and go" handle makes it easy to pick the bag up quickly if needed.
